Looking for a tool or idea on how to observe technical statistics (price action, volume) which comes with pre-determined indicators (e.g. UAA has traded up 9 times during month of November for past 12 years or e.g. Markets have been up 18 out of 18 times during past 18 mid-term elections). Another example, after SPY is up 3 days in a row, there is a 73% chance it will trade up again on the 4th.
Anyone familiar with something like this?

    Hi DFrancesa,

If a million traders told you it's a fantastic strategy
would it influence you to use it?

If a million traders told you that strategy does
not work, would it influence you not to try it?

Ok, now let's get a little more deep. If the majority
of traders are on the losing side of this business,
what are the chances the small % of winners
    would answer your question?

It might be ..really..truly..without a shadow of a doubt,
it might be more productive to test a strategy effectiveness
in market replay or simulation along with some form of
performance metrics instead of seeking validation from
    other traders.

"I have only come here seeking knowledge
Things they would not teach me of in college
I can see the destiny you sold turned into a shining band of gold."

OP is not seeking validation AFAIK. o_O

Bought original version when it first came out and completely happy I did:-

Please watch this video on fractal and chaos. We can see both fractal and chaos in the market e.g. trend and random walk.

Often backtest results are just curve fitting.
