I really love Mach speeds and ridiculous maneuverability of fighters, but the A-10 is fantastic!

Kawasaki has higher topspeed than F1. Reaches 400km/h in 26 seconds. (Faster than the fastest Tesla :wtf:)

I remember watching a race between a cycle and F1 on a track circuit, and the cycle was given a fairly hefty head start. The F1 caught it and trounced it with it's turning ability.

Driving 60 million dollar F1 car in fierce action where instantaneous chaos erupts at a fraction of a moment's notice could put a little sweat on the brow. At the end of a race, these cats get out of the car, talk to the crowd like its a drive through the countryside. Wonder what coffee they drink before the race, lol. Couple of Starbucks scorch roasted double lattes might leave a driver a tad jangled. Dogfighting in high stress mortal air combat would seem to take a 2nd place to the stress these guys endure at every congested stretch and turn. In-cockpit video of F1 turns have tunnel vision and restrict the viewers awareness vs. driver's, but still, mirrors, guages, audio instructions from the crew, other crazy mofos after that same cash and glory. Amazing stuff. Saw Daytona top tier Bike race. Cat that we went with had run on that track when the main straightaway led directly into that Big Ass Banked Turn. Said that the first time he hit that bank it drove his chin right down into the gas tank and bottomed out the shocks on his bike so that the entire turn was no joy, lol. The year we were there, a dip and return was put in before the bank so exiting out of that, the bikes were accelerating from lower speed and civilized that part of the track quite a bit. Standing right next to the fastest part of the straightaway while these bikes come blazing bye is eye-opening and not to be missed if you ever go to a bike race.
Get to the front by the straight and one or two laps going by will give some perspective. If you face upstream and try to track a rider as he goes by, you can't keep your eye on any single bike going by. You pick one, follow him in, pivot as fast as you can, and you are too late. If you can keep up, you ain't in the front of the stands yet. Get closer. Corners are a physics lesson. If you're ever in the neighborhood while one of these things is to be run, stop on by and have a homebrew, you'll be glad you did.
