But, I mentioned that you REIT could go down, according to some banksters on the forum. And, I did not mention your money-market-fond. Do you insurrance cover trading losses in your REIT! Anyway. I whish you good luck
To cover loses its your business. I got all my money I spent to buy AGNC. This money already insured by SIPC. What on my REIT position is money I gained. This money works for me 17% gain annually and it cost me nothing since I returned my original expenses. If I loose it, I do not risk my money. My goal is getting “free” money as long as they pay dividends. About future “crush” - no crush expected.
Without withholding-tax 20% on T-bills, * I do not know what the tax-rate is on money-market-fonds. According to Google 2020-2025 4.4% inflation yearly. 100.000K in a Compound Growth Calculator gives 124,023.07. That is in 2030, without tax, and in a flat rate at 4.4% sitiuation. 10 years after you, buy of the REIT. 10 years compound growth at 4.4% is 153,817.23 without tax. So the money you spend on the REIT and claim to have got back, and put into the money-market, can not keep up with inflation. And you will never breakeven on that part. Futhermore you bet on lower interest rates, so your REIT can go up. And the money-market-fond thing is even more imposible to cover the cost of the REIT adjusted for inflation. But, I whish you good luck and all the best Correct me if I am wrong
Inflation rate is about 3% in 20 years $100K could be as $50K. But in case of 4-5% you will still got $100k. However I’m not going to hold it on money market. I’m utilizing this money. My statement I put it on money market means when I have my divs monthly payment - it goes to money market. But it doesn’t mean it stays there for long. I have many ways to reinvest it, but this is different story.
To get your pansered/gun bullet secured money lorry fully in the garage. The dividend has to go up from 11,520 for 8 months 2025. Qoute*//As of 8/11 total will be 99,720//* recived in dividend. So if that is after tax. Then the dividend has go to over 30.000 dollars next year. NEVER FORGET TAX. To cover breakeven by dividend of buy price for your REIT adjusted for inflation. So around 130.000 dollars in 2026 if 4% inflation on top of 4.4% 2020-2025.
