I'm sorry. I'm kind of clueless when you mention short synthetic. I have no idea what that means. You know more than I do. Hope it works out for you.
Without getting into the plethora of reasons I am bearish on the USD, I wholeheartedly agree with this. I think in the short term we do see a strong dollar, but in the long term macro picture I think the dollar massively weakens.
What is the advantage of the SPOT over Futures? My understanding of FX is not the same at Equities/Options/Futures.
There you have it ... real deal pro traders that trade currencies have no problem using the spot Fx market over futures, depending on the trade(s). I like futures, most of my trading is on this market. I will use the spot FX or equities market for certain trades that I can't do with futures. The spot liquidity can execute large size with minimal or no effect on the market.
If it were my money, I doubt I could sleep. DEFINITELY not my cup of tea, don't have the stomach for it.
Now, this is some bold and massive prediction, lol. Given that exchange rates historically are capped and floored (they over and under shot in very few occasions) and looking where USD basket stands, and given you attach no timing to this at all, this turns out to be a brilliant call. Lol
