There is no causal “response” to the news. That’s an illusion created by confirmation bias. Markets move according to liquidity cycles, structural flows, and macro positioning — not headlines. News simply gets retrofitted as an explanation after the move occurs. I’m not talking about day trading — I’m talking about macro structure. Sometimes the news aligns with the cycle, and people think it was the cause. It wasn’t.
Well low float manipulated stocks are a different animal. There is no natural cycle....its just pumps and dumps. I am referring to indexes and the majority of stocks and etfs. You have to look at it from the perspective that cyclical market cycles already have future news baked into their projections.
To achieve long-term success, focus on mastering risk management rather than picking a direction. Since picking the right direction is almost impossible due to the number of variables you have to control, risk management is all you have to handle your trade. That is why technical indicators are useless; they can explain the past, but never the future.
Any capital that is not earning money is wasted capital. People are way too fixated on capital gains.
WXY is a juvenile sim trader with no money arguing with real traders, it's just not worthy the response.
