Execution quality is different. You should do a test and see for yourself. Using the the Mosaic strategy builder for spreads is indeed less intuitive than TW or TDA. IB needs to buck up in their trading platform considering that they pride themselves on being the tech guys. Only the dinosaur traders are stuck with them. The younger traders will be put off.

  2. What differences did you see and who do you use to compare. IB trades have been decent. but their strategy builder, omg, why don't they update it??! l don't mean aesthetic looks, aesthetics mean nothing, but the ease of input of trades. just look at Tasty Works, decades ahead! IB, catch up while you can, IB option traders should be migrating.

There are 3-4 different ways to enter option trades in IB's TWS, including at least two in strategybuilder. If you can't figure out how to get that done efficiently, mebbe IB doesn't want you.

When was the last time you watch an IB How To video? Ever? Even those don't always cover all methods available. But hey, if you'd rather go for looks, tasty works will take you for sure -- *and* will hold your hand for free.*
