Wall Street is running the auto retailers to the moon. CVNA, AN, KMX, VRM, etc.... Copart is the one that's really making $'s. It's $146 now, up from $115. ....(thanks vz) Anyway, so when is their next earnings report? They go from May to September?! Who knows... but if anyone is making money off the used car shortage, these guys are. Manheims is private. Cox family out of Atlanta. So... if you can find another auction play that does WHOLESALE to dealers... post it. For now Copart gets the nod, albeit they've run quite a bit. They'll drop like a rock though if Powell acknowledges the obvious and takes action however. As will $AN Carvana too. And Vroom. And the rest.
Kind of a Shame too. We really need a decent correction. I hate chasing these high priced stocks. Watching the used auto retailers and like the trend but hate to chase and pay these prices. Really was hoping for a summer correction. Chasing over-priced stocks goes against every rule I have.
