    Stoney,
    Top O' the morning to ya lad. Glad you're holed up and out of the city btw;

    (queued up):

    Certainly a silver lining to the Covid19 cloud... Stoney holed up in the rolling hills of CT... as I always enjoy your morning stream of consciousness this time of the year.

    Drive-in movies. Rotff... I gotta admit, even I didn't think of that one. Ya know... you may be right, they could make a huge comeback for real. Bluetooth the the soundtrack into those premium auto-sound systems.... order snicky-snacks from your phone... delivered right to your car by babes in bikini's and roller-skates. I guess to be politically correct we'll need to hire some Chippendale types too. Maybe make that part of the app/"experience"... pick your delivery person... have their pictures there to scroll through. Brilliant. Play up the whole "nostalgia for the good 'ol days" while keeping the wife/kids/date safe and secure in the Lexus. Marketing genius Stoney.

    I've got a few off the radar stock picks for ya... but gotta run for now. Enjoy your day. ttyl

  2. The market wants to flip here. I have proactively sold POWI... although i personally feel it is a value tech play, still we will take the $13 a share profit on 500 shares approx $6,500 gain.

    I am eyeing this SE... It has pulled back today but that's after shooting up////

  3. Alright we have a bit pf a SNAFU on CHDN.... We brought this to you on Sunday and then Tues it took off and it looks like we only got a partial fill... Damn stock is $133 and it was $122 on Tues morn! Average cost is going to be $127 if we buy more here... Stock is rocketing... other idea sleepy KE looks good too but it's sleepy up...

    KE has gone from $12 area to $15 in one month on very very low volume.... I did a volume analysis on this stock and it happily traded 300,000 in the old days... and then suddenly recently the volume is 80,000 average and on some days 11,000 area it's crazy!

    All my research points to this name-- the one problem is the Chinese factories... and our recent spat with China which looks like much more than a spat.... There is one big problem with this name China (and the automotive industry) whereas CHDN is all about gambling....

    CHDN-->$134.00

    KE--> $15.00

    SE---> $74.50

  5. Here we are Thursday. So far we have given you two nice winners all booked away and now we have to start and think about GNRC. There are $22 or so of profit per share there as well....

    I don't think anybody has a perfect record but I have to this point never given a losing portfolio out on this site! What am I thinking about today? Air flow. One of the largest maker of HEPA filters (#2) appears British PRV:LNLondon
    Porvair PLC
    652.00GBp
    +40.00+6.54%

    The new news on the virus is not good, that it is in fact in the air resting on dust fragments and easily breathed in. This means large businesses are going to have to increase their purchasing and usage of HEPA filters. On top of that air conditioning to a certain extent and more importantly fans are going to be needed in all these buildings residential and working. Is this an opportunity for Carrier? Do they even still exist? I know they ran out of Syracuse NY to Mexico and haven't been heard from since. Two other companies to keep in mind but these companies have other problems... Trane TT & Lennox LII. Air Flow becomes important here.

    The market is at that fun point of jumping over lowered bars, basically emulating the trick we are doing with the number of Covid deaths. 100.000 is so good! We could of had a million. Step back and think how stupid that reasoning is... a million dead and we would be in full every man for himself mode... I might have to even buy a gun somehow. For now I stick to my bow and arrow and knife, that seems to be working.

    5G remember that? Let me ask you this question: We have gone through an period of streaming like no other ever on Earth. More gigabytes of info and non shaky downloads of NETFLIX and what not we have live streamed Zoom to death and all of this was done with 4G. We have NO need for 5G. And 5G was THE BIG next thing.... all these tech companies were pointing towards it... That's gone folks! What could your phone offer you with 5G that would make any bit of difference... Motorola is going to rush out a 5G phone that flops. Apple I would think will push the whole 5g process back... If they don't... I don't see the new out of work customer really caring enough... 5G is going to be a big problem.

    As well China is done. It's off limits. All of these companies that have been telling us China is the next big market they have to sell into... Whoosh! No end market. Now that opens up a plethora of other problems what of US companies that have factories in China.. That cannot be good... What of the reagents and medical dusts and rare earths? It's going to take a lot of time to suddenly bring all of these resources in house... Certainly some countries stand to gain and Singapore is right up there at the top.

    An idea I really like is SE. Sea Limited. It was down yesterday because tech was kind of down... and it's kind of in that internet mold of fast go go 's that i hate... I don't want to be part of any tiny group of out performers. God I detest these money mangers who come on TV and say MSFT and AMZN are their ideas...

    Sea Lmted has a great division that is payments like Paypal but to all of these Asian countries... this is an ex-China sort of play which I really like here... They have a video game that is No 1 or 2 all over the far east... I have to go back to my notes for the name but it's a shoot em up game.... on the phone and we have upgrades coming so that will continue to rain money.. we are backed by Tenecent which is important they own a lot another division is in.... Oh God... my mind, Payments, gaming... I'm missing one... e -commerce yes that's it... Gaming, E commerce and payments!!!

    FreeFire that's the game... It's a bit strange all White characters doing the shooting...
    Singapore-based Sea says it operates the largest digital entertainment platform and the largest e-commerce operation in the Southeast Asia region. It also has a digital payment services business...

    But we have this rotation into value and heavier names so is now the time to buy SE?...

    Anyway that's what I'm thinking about...~stoney

  7. <<<Ideas For Now Summer Trading Portfolio >>>

    SNY: Sanofi 3.7% yield. Bought at $44--- hasn't gone far. $47.80 I NEED THESE GUYS TO WAKE UP!

    GNRC: Generec Bought under $100. Looks good.-> $114 now $122!!

    AAWW: Atlas air (Cargo) SOLD!!!! 1st sell of the portfolio!!!<---- SOLD!

    LJPC: La Jolla- Septic Shock- This stock appears to have suddenly on Wed left $7 and gone to $5 in a flash. I have no idea why. One reader here was correct this is not working out for me.
    Did I miss a downgrade? I have questions in.

    A) Amivas, an entity not affiliated with La Jolla, was granted FDA approval of its IV artesunate product.
    Artesunate is the active ingredient used in LJPC-0118. Amivas had previously been granted Orphan Drug designation for its IV artesunate product. According to FDA regulations, the FDA will not approve another sponsor's marketing application for the same drug for the same use or indication within 7 years of the initial approval.

    Ok that's bad news for sure but Severe Malaria? How much of that is happening...Small market low price per pill... Africa, this is not the drug they are currently using in Covid stuff.. that's
    Vials of GIAPREZA shipped from distributors to hospitals grew 58% for the three months ended March 31, 2020... I was betting on Giapreza and got side wiped by a different company different drug that effects a pipeline drug for La Jolla... in a rare sort of disease... Tough decision coming here...

    BCRX: Biocryst- anti viral for Covid-- hasn't moved much yet expecting news soon.
    Update: These Mfers dropped a secondary for no reason. At first I'm big time mad but now that they have gotten away with it ,maybe it's good they did not have to do this! I'm so pissed I checked their cash and it's over 100 mln these bastards... why!!!! Why.? Hummmm.
    That they could do it is good... Now they REALLY have enough cash jesus and they are onto something and they have given these new investors something good in the future without that cliff of an secondary out there.. I'm talking myself into this but Now I see it as good.

    (NASDAQ:BCRX)is planning to sell $100 million of stock in a secondary offering. The underwriters will have a 30-day option to purchase another $15 million, so thebiotechcould potentially gross $115 million in the offering.

    BioCryst ended the first quarter with $115 million in the bank, having burned through $23 million during the first quarter, so the capital raise shouldn't come as much of a surprise, although it could have waited until later in the year to do it.

    Of course, with shares up 142% since BioCryst announced last month that it wastestingits antiviral medication galidesivir in patients with COVID-19, now seems like as good a time as any to grab some additional cash.

    Not just a Covid story...

    BioCryst plans to use the capital for pre-launch and commercial activities for berotralstat. The Food and Drug Administration is supposed to make a decision about the marketing application on or before Dec. 3. And a decision in the EU is expected in the first half of next year.

    The company also plans to use some of the capital to develop BCX9930 for complement-mediated diseases and for post-approval studies for its flu medication Rapivab that regulators are making the company run.

    BioCryst was trading down 4% in after hours trading on the news of the secondary offering that will dilute shareholders by about 13%. The price of the shares being sold in the secondary offering hasn't been set yet.

    WPC: REIT-6.3% yield. Price: $63// I'm afraid to look where it is.
    We have weathered the stom. Sees stable now
    W. P. Carey received 95% of contractual base rent that was due in April, a great achievement compared to many other REITs.

    One of the key strengths is the company's well-diversified portfolio, with underweight exposure to retail.

    W. P. Carey had some categories that delivered abysmal results, namely 1) Fitness, movie theaters and restaurants and 2) lodging. The good news is that each of these two categories represents just 2% of annual base rent.

    Overall, it feels like 'business as usual' for W. P. Carey, at least in terms of rent collection. Not only that, the company recently raised its quarterly cash dividend. Now 6.54%.

    POWI: Tech play. Purchase $98--- $111now<---SOLD

    CHDN Churchill Downs $127 entry-Gambling play

    SE Sea Limited-$78.00 I had entry prices I wanted lower but my stocks have been running away from me as of late...

    Alright Up & Down sort of day.... I feel like we are 1 stock or 2 away from smoothing out this portfolio... something like Itron ITRI... Something slightly industrial and value.... Van??????? Where are my ideas!!!! OSIS....

  8. Big news-! the Ziggys food truck is back! These great people set up on 202 up here in Ct between New Preston and Northville-- they make the best cannolis in Ct and great food.

    Ok I got an market pro to agree with me.
    OUTPERFORM | Price Target: $8.00<-- LJPC.

    the FDA announced the approval of Amivas’ (private) IV artesunate for the treatment of severe malaria. Given that the asset had received Orphan Drug Designation, the FDA will not approve La Jolla's (Nasdaq: LJPC) LJPC-0118 for a 7 year period in this indication since it shares the same active ingredient. As a result, we are removing revenues from the Priority Review Voucher (PRV) related to LJPC-0118 that we expected La Jolla to receive and sell, bringing our 12-month price target to $8/ share.
    While disappointing, our main thesis around LJPC remains that Giapreza (Angiotensin II) sales will steadily increase over time based on physician feedback and other drug launches in the hospital setting, and that the Company will maintain low commercial costs (Q1 2020 cash used for operating activities was only $12.2M; our Q1 earnings note here). As a reminder, net sales of Giapreza were $7.6M in Q1 2020, representing a 73% increase from Q1 2019.

    Hey Stoney...

    I like the HEPA filter idea. I know Boeing uses them in all their new models so I did a quick search for ya to see where they get them. $DCI
    I have not done any DD on them, but that's a great idea.

    https://ir.donaldson.com/press-rele...Filters-For-Boeing-777-Airplanes/default.aspx

    Carrier is still around. They were owned by United Technologies, and as a matter of fact, they just completed their spin-off last month after the Raytheon/UTC hookup. NYSE $CARR

    You have had some good picks. Remember Shot-Spotter ($SSTI) at $12(?)... that damn thing made it to $60+. It's $22 now but still. I gotta admit too, I kinda rolled my eyes when I read that one and looked at their books. I honestly thought it was one of those pump and dump one trick pony stocks. I was not a believer on that one.
    Hey don't forget... who got ya thinkin... to find Churchill. Remember this one?

    How'd we miss Draftkings?

    I read GWPH's conference call btw. You've had me following that thing now for 2 years lol. They have a good story, and the chart sure looks like it should get to $160 again if it can get thru $130 here, but man, I'm looking at their financials, and I just don't see Epidiolex, even with EU reimbursement legislation looking good, generating the kind of earnings to justify that 120 PE. I know they have a pipeline of stuff... and the U.S. launch has been very successful... but still. How can someone justify that market-cap!? $4B. On $110M in sales and $127M in expenses. Crazy imo.

    Ok, we gotta buy this one. It's $19.... and its been hammered.... but its not going away. We covered it last year at this time, and its been hammered. Now's the time. I think it'll double by year end. Drumroll...

    $SBGI.

    Canoli's huh? Better go easy on those things, or you'll be pushing excess water through your pool filters when you jump in.

    $SBGI @ $19 Stoney. ;)

  10. Nice post. Draftkings I think is overhyped they have you betting on reality tv shows and want you to play fake poker games online... Nothing they do appears done correctly. There is a big appeal to gaming now from a non Vegas angle. Small regional casinos and betting windows for horses where they can serve booze this will really be in favor. Big casinos are not serving booze repeat not serving booze when they open-- why go? The experience is just going to be so yucky someone fumigating your chips and being escorted to private windowed areas to consume a drink handed to you by a robot arm.. There seems like more of a lifestyle appeal here to a small ish casino, one where they don't really have to cut their allowed in numbers that much capacity because they were neverthat full in the first place. Think Marty's place in Ozarks... The Black Cat with betting!

    HEPA filters are going the everywhere! In the car... in the plane at work and at home! We need a HEPA play... Take a look here a triple bottom!- LII. Lennox. They don't make the filter but I bet they scarpe a profit off each one they install!

    Lennox International Inc. is an intercontinental provider of climate control products for the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration markets. Lennox also includes the Heatcraft Refrigeration and Armstrong brands.
