How do I know if any of this stuff is real? Anybody could make fake videos like this. Why isn't FOX News all over this if it's legitimate? Never heard of Project Veritas, looks like made up conspiracy theory bullshit though.
Trump as well as every right wing media source.... and many other media sites are all over this story. Here are some links of the hundreds of news results about this story. Where are they backing up PV's claims? I saw Trump tweeted about it. He has a history of re-tweeting debunked right-wing bullshit.
I don't need CNN, I'll eat my words that this looks like bullshit if well known mainstream right-leaning news organizations (ie: FOX News, NY Post, WSJ) actually confirm PV's findings. However, I'm doubtful they will, because it honestly looks like bullshit.
Googling Project Veritas on Wikipedia: "Project Veritas is an American right-wing activist group.[1][2][3][4] The group uses undercover techniques to supposedly reveal liberal bias and corruption[1] and is known for producing deceptively edited videos about media organizations and left-leaning groups.[5][2][6][7][8][9][10] In a 2018 book on propaganda and disinformation in U.S. politics, three Harvard University scholars refer to Project Veritas as a "right-wing disinformation outfit".[11] Its founder, James O'Keefe, has claimed that the group's videos are not presented out of context or deceptively edited.[12]" Not a lot of credibility here...
I am not making a statement if the allegations are true or not. I am merely pointing out that the story has been covered in the mainstream media -- with media sources naturally inserting their own biases into the story. Naturally the right wing news sources have been promoting the story in the context that it is completely true.
If you read carefully, they're not confirming the legitimacy. For example, the NY Post article merely pointed out that Trump re-tweeted it. Honestly, they should know better than to post an article of PV's findings, but I guess that's too much to expect from partisan journalists these days. I could make a video that Biden is a secret Muslim and probably find clips of him speaking about the Qaran. Doesn't mean it should be reported.
There is an actual video of it with the participants admitting to what they are doing unless, they prove that is fake. Christopher Wray, FBI head said there was no evidence of widespread mass fraud. Let us see if they investigate this one thoroughly. You do not have to be a genius to figure out that, if there is one, chances are there are more. They would not do this on a small scale when the risks are the same.
I posted the videos a few minutes after PV uploaded it. The reason you haven't heard of Project Veritas is because you live in an echo chamber bubble.
