  1. I'm very surprised to hear that you are not getting fills as expected while using the TT simulation environment. Please enter a ticket with the TT support team.
Regrading an 800 leg spread...where are you seeing that?

Hi Patrick, thanks for the reply. I have a screenshot of the instrument I'm referring to here. Also, have tried getting filled in some of the electricity contracts, and it's showing 'Need access to data', I'm not sure what that means. Hard to get filled on some spreads too.

Geez none of that stuff has any volume. Look at the exchange website settlements before you bother - if it has less than 5K daily volume in a particular expiry don’t trade it.

Those Energy Swaps take a shit ton of capital to trade.

Yeah, I have heard electricity can be expensive to trade. When I saw it listed on TT, I thought it might be interesting to see the P/L dynamics of it. But alas, can't get filled on these contracts. Overall, this demo does seem more realistic.

Where could I find data for those? I'm guessing electricity is particularly volatile?

Don’t even bother. It is for Commercial producers and users - with hundreds of millions of dollars in bonafides. Yes, 1000% vol in Summer hourly markets at times.

One of the things you’re going to have to learn is that you don’t want to trade off-hours against other independent traders and speculators. You want to trade against bank customers and commercials during their prime hours.
