In Stunning Reversal, NASA Halts $2.9 Billion Contract with SpaceX

I would seriously prefer to see spaceship money be spent instead on medical research and better schools in inner cities etc.... it's our taxpayer money..... billion dollar space programs seem a misspending of money, given other urgent choices imho

Eg for the price of a space program, instead you could improve hundreds of schools and help thousands of students etc

 

How about helping some homeful people like us?

 

Like, when?
When it is - the time, to do something like this ?

To do something beyond our orbit ?

We can keep improving the schools and infrastructure & help the homeless and fight pandemics, inner/outer enemies and terrorists - forever.
A never ending cycle. ,




But, when, it is the time to establish new colonies elsewhere ?

Those ,,urgent" problems always were there & always will be,
while conquering new lands, one day, sadly, might be just - too late.

 

Yeah good idea, lets build a homeless shelter on the moon or mars and send the homeless to live there.

 

NASA budget just $22 Billion per year.

US Defence budget this year $934 Billion.

 

Sure is going into orbit.

 

Because the rich want to live on another better planet
