Today you pay 10 bucks for Netflix and have lots of change left to get a Disney subscription as well. Mobile phone? Many people I know paid around 40 to 50 a month in the greater NYC area in 2006 when I studied there. Today the same 4G contracts cost 25-30. McDonald's, perhaps one of the best price indicators because of the standardized menu, has not upped its prices much in 15 years. A big Mac menu in San Francisco (San Rafael to be precise) cost the same a few months ago than in 2003 when I was there and remembered the price as it was back then the most expensive outlet in the country. Have not seen prices for fresh produce or meat increase either. It's called competition. Where do you live that we seem to be on different pages?
