The only reason I can think of why Schwab keeps ThinkorSwin in because people make less zero commission trades and Schwab gets to invest unused cash balances.
but hedge funds use it and have other sources of alpha to offset the issues with TOs. You said it. You are the profitable trader.
I never said hedge funds use it. Someone else did. I said if they do they likely have other edges to offset TOS drawbacks.
Yes. But I'm primarily a (now retired) investor who dabbles in swing trading and options. I like TOS compared to other interfaces I have played with; IBKR is somewhat preferable, but I liked TD Ameritrade better at the time and dropped my IB account. It could be a lot worse... go try Fidelity's Active Trader. In any case, reviews are generally worthless... create an account and try it out.
"market making" dude thinks it's something other than making a two-sided market. Dirt floors and cabbage.
Yeah. Hosea Askew. I talked to local LE at the time. The guy who posted a Embraer jet pic as his own. We ran the tail number and it was owned by a TX driller.
He obv left the scene and there was a tense moment when he wouldn't leave the house, but he eventually told cops he had gone to the bank to deposit cash for trading. IIRC the story is on the local paper's site. Lived in Antioch CA (ugh). They charged the wife as well but they eventually dropped the charges against her. "NFL player" Hosea is 5'7" and 170lbs. Clearly a top OL.
