Is eoddata (dot com) dead? No splits updates since Dec 22. Jan 03 DATA (AMEX/NASDAQ) all messed up (missing symbols, corrupted data, etc.) Anyone know of a viable alternative?

EoDData (dot com) is finally back to normal. Seems like their owner went on vacation starting from Dec 22 onwards. I checked their Jan 3rd data. Everything was corrected for errors now seems OK, even missing symbols added back. Splits page also got updated to Jan 9 (stopped updating on Dec 22). BUT, this episode leads me to find another more reliable data provider. If this is how EoDData gonna be every time their owner goes on vacation, then no thanks!
I didn't know this very thread about www.eoddata.com existed. Yesterday I bought some monthly Intraday data from that company. I immediately got an email telling me: "Your Intraday Historical Data is now available for download through the DOWNLOAD section of our website." But when I login and go to that page, it just says "Building...". Ie. the company shamelessly lied, as the data is not yet ready for download. Now more than 26 hours have passed, and their stupid system is still "Building" the data... It builds the data month by month, and not a single month has been built so far!.. Man, these are historic data. This company needs to build it only ONCE and then just duplicate it (ie. make a copy of it)! It seems the company lacks this basic knowledge... If done correct, then one even would not need any copying at all! Just a link to the original file... I of course have complained. But still no reaction. If I only had the data I could have my job already done!... What a work and business ethics some companies have...
The shitco is still "Building..." I've paid for the data, but not received any data yet... The payment data by my bank say that this shitco is located in Auckland, New Zealand. Also still no reaction to my 2 (polite) mails to their support.
