Pinkman, I have read about someone similar to what you have described. Here are a few things which he claimed. 1. He does not need any price history (only the present price/candle stick). 2. A candle stick is enough. 3. He uses a reference point. 4. He claimed to have discovered 'the secret' which a few have discovered and were asked to keep as secret (keep quiet). 5. Also, he claimed that price chart or candle sticks are not necessary. But he uses it, however stated 'the secret' system will still work without them. 6. He has shown a few real statements to prove his profitability.
