At this point if the U.S. does not agree to drop 30,000 lb bunker busters on the Fordow nuclear site then the only option left for Israel is to send in the commandos. A very risky operation.

  3. Well, Trump is demanding "unconditional surrender" now.

Let's just say that is a tall order but I just report the news, not make it.

But in the unlikely even that such a thing happens, and this is his stated goal, then the u.s. or israeli military would just go in and systematically destroy all the sites, unimpeded, if there has been an unconditional surrender.

Trump says today "we" have total air control over Iran. Hello, when I went to bed last night "we" were not even involved technically. We were just committed to helping Israel without getting involved. Now "we" control the skies over Iran.

Why would we bother with bunker busters or commando raids if the goal is to get unconditional surrender? You could take out the nuke sites afterwards. The nuke sites do not pose a threat at this time to gaining control of the country. Apparently Trump wants unconditional surrender even if the nuke sites went down.

I am advocating or not advocating any of this. Just playing around with all the difference pieces Trump is floating out there. Presumably after they have their security council meeting things will be more coherent. It would be nice anyway.

Trump contradicts Tulsi and says he does not care that she says Iran was not developing a nuclear weapon.

I don't think the current Iran leadership will "unconditionally surrender" -- only if the current leadership is chased out of the country and a new government takes over. In which case the new government would unconditionally surrender and give up all the nuclear material. I don't see this happening.
