Power sharing is froth with extensive politicking to prevent internal clashes. One of these groups is Shiite Hezbollah, the more powerful of the lot because armed and financed by Iran. Only Hezbollah wants war with Israel. The other groups probably hope they do, to become so weak that they would lose their dominance in Lebanon. None of the other parties in Lebanon have the desire to fight Israel.

That would be Hamas in recent history. If we go all the way back to Israels birth in 1948 - the Arabs have literally tried their best to eliminate Israel ever since. Without success so far, although it seems many would wish the Arabs succeed.
