Foreign media are now required to obtain prior military censorship approval before filming missile impact and crash sites.

Interesting. This is a new policy. In recent days prior to this announcement Israel was urging worldwide media to film the damage from Iranian missile strikes so Israel could proclaim to the world about the damage being done by Iran to booster their case for war.

The new policy seems to be centered around that reporters were actually live filming for Al Jazeera (an outlet banned in Israel) while claiming to work for Reuters or other outlets. It appears the feeds were being used simultaneously by Al Jazeera and other media outlets.

  6. Max' yes... You make a good point... I was wondering too why Israel had not turned off their GPS system... So... I searched the digital catacombs... &

This might be a bit redundant after Businessman's excellent post...

While Israel can and does employ measures to disrupt GPS signals for defensive purposes, including protecting Tel Aviv from potential Iranian missile attacks, turning off the entire system completely to prevent targeting is not a viable strategy.

    The why:

    • Reliance on GPS: Modern society relies heavily on GPS for critical functions beyond military use, such as transportation, navigation, communication, and financial transactions. Turning off the entire system would cause widespread disruption to civilian life and critical infrastructure.

    • Alternative Navigation: While GPS jamming or spoofing can disrupt GPS-guided weapons, Iranian missiles and drones may also utilize alternative navigation systems or technologies to maintain their trajectory and accuracy.

    • Precision-Guided Weapons: Iran and its proxies possess advanced precision-guided missiles and drones that rely on GPS for targeting. Disabling the system entirely might not be enough to prevent all attacks.

    • Defense Systems: Israel has a multi-layered missile defense system, including the Iron Dome, David's Sling, and Arrow systems, designed to intercept a wide range of threats, including ballistic and cruise missiles. This defense network plays a crucial role in mitigating the impact of incoming projectiles, regardless of their reliance on GPS.
Therefore, Israel utilizes GPS jamming and spoofing as a defensive measure to interfere with GPS-guided weapons, but a complete shutdown of the (GPS) system is not a practical or effective solution due to the significant disruption it would cause and the potential for adversaries to use alternative navigation methods.

  8. Yes, Thanks... I have watched a large number of these videos where the Iranian HyperSonics scream right through the 3 Israeli interceptor defense zones, the US Thaad Defense system and the US Navy AGEIS Auto Cannon Guns... and most of the these Vids that I watch were caught on smart phones by Israelis and did not look like AI Vids.

Also the Ballistic Missiles by Iran cost 200K to 400K to produce (and Iran builds most of them in house) depending on their version type and the Inceptors by Israel are in the 1-2 millions and they are outsourced to USA/EU... and Israel is running out of them and their production takes a long time to replace. Seems that the Defense Costs and intensity of the 15 attack waves from Iran are squeezing the issue for Israel and creating a critical military situation.

This web link to a very interesting uTube Vid with two US former Commanders explaining the logistical issues of the missile wars was quite eye opening and in depth... Link To Vid

  10. I am a libertarian conservative who did not vote for Donald Trump, either time, and I want to stand on the right side of history, and before God and my own personal history, and say his statement about Gabbard is not only wrong, it is A MONSTEROUS LIE, and proves he is OWNED by Israel and we are headed for another unnecessary war and more endless USA/Israeli war crimes and crimes against humanity.

This statement of mine goes back 65+ years in relation to USA war crimes and also back 77 years to 1948(up to present 2025) and Israeli war crimes since then to now.

If you have a very diff opinion... then great. We do not need to argue it. That has been done.

Now is this "also" a Financial - Market - Trading Discussion... YES... Ultimately... Because if Iran closes the Straight of Hormuz (which Iran easily CAN) and attacks USA Bases on diff Middle East Countries (Saudi Arabia) then Oil is going past 150 to 300 a barrel and maybe more which will effect ALL markets.
