there is not one good example of beneficial comments on these forums including mine.......all for grins........watch them come and watch them go.....entertainment on the cheap.......
that's not entirely true George, I have picked up quite a few tricks from some ET members, you included.
I wouldn't go as far as saying that it is impossible to make money in zero-sum markets like futures (and options). I WOULD say, though, that most who try could make a better living getting a degree or two and obtaining a real job with a real salary and such.
It's actually a negative-sum game. You gotta keep putting more cash into it just to make it break-even at zero-sum... hence the need for a job...
Assuming you were objecting the negative sum game comment then it was correct. The sum is Winner + Loser for zero sum here but the Exchange + Broker also take money out so the sum is negative. So if you have a winning trader and a losing trader then one of them needs a job as well to pay the exchange and the broker
romik i will say u r an exception for sure.......the attitude reflects sincerity....it certainly can be done.....without a doubt...i beleive anything you say based on et posts by you.......i hope u make millions....b1b2...4re...all class people........later
That's what I am saying George, thank you, now click here and try not to shit yourself, it's quite funny - http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=74983
It's still impossible Billy. I hope you never get past your backtesting/papertrading stage. Its for your own good.
