It's hard hearing friends making profits, and I am losing money.

  1. Triple, can you post some of your losing trades with a chart so some of us can try to spot where you made your mistakes? Some of us are eager to help those who are going thru a tough time. But if you dont want to elaborate on your actual trades then theres nothing we can do for you to help get you to profitability. You actually become a better trader when U learn from your mistakes...

Well I don't know about the whole jealousy thing, that's something you're going to have to work out for yourself, but it sounds like you buy stocks and it appears to me that you are quite studious about it.

The name of the game here is to up your winning percentages so look... one thing I've learned over a billion trades is that the smarter you are about a stock, the more likely you are to lose.

You sound like an intelligent guy, but that can be a curse sometimes when it comes to trading. Don't get me wrong, its great for long term investing; you study a company, analyze its operations, its books, you read the quarterlies and stay on top of their story... the whole Buffet/Lynch thing.

But "trading" stocks is completely different. It doesn't matter what a company does, if its overvalued or undervalued, none of that. Herd mentality drives a stock near term. It could be for an hour, a week, or 6 months. You don't use logic(!), you predict the herd. People smarts, market smarts. That's it.

It's like this; when a novice first begins a sport like hunting, at first they can't spot the prey hiding in amongst the undergrowth. After a while the eye begins to detect more and more detail.
Then once the shooting begins, that can take considerable time to get your eye and coordination to hit a moving target.
It takes time for the mind and body to get in tune with a new envrinonment.

    Lol...hahaha
    No. I don't.

I have no idea what I do. Honestly, I can't explain it.

Everybody has their own method though, a method and a vehicle(s) to trade.

I'm not special, but even if I was... the way I do it could never be taught.

I mean I could try.... but it wouldn't work.
    Its just life I guess.

    this should answer your question.
    It's queued.

I know the feeling. So in your head, the following is what you see in your mind's eye, but it is impossible to describe in chat. Yep yep.
