if you can “give more” than you spent on the giving.

otherwise doing it to reduce taxes is like cutting off your foot to get a handicapped parking space.

Almost 100 years before there was a Gates Foundation, Andrew Carnegie gave away $350 million of his $380 million fortune.

The $30 million remainder went to forming the Carnegie Corporation of New York continuing to fulfill and grow his legacy of giving.

So no, philanthropy isn't always a tax strategy.

Charitable giving is a completely retarded tax strategy. You almost always have less money than if you didn’t give and just paid the taxes.

you give because you want to and the government doesn’t punish the receiving institution.

Most likely the concepts of game theory, prediction math, markov chains, probabilistic sequence model, circle packing would be good places to start.

Anyone ever glean the 8 market states of his? They've been alluded to but never defined afaik.

  7. The Trump and Musk foundations have exceeded Carnegie and former Bill & Melinda Gates charities, right?

I bet Donald trump takes all the cash in his company and converts it to dollar bills and fills his coffin with it.
