  3. That adds new meaning to the expression "close enough for government work."

I, for one, am surprised (shocked, I tell ya!) that Biden hasn't started bragging about how in the Catholic church he attended, they had a Black Madonna.

  7. Definitely, and "no joke" his wife Valerie is black.

I just snorted a little toilet bowl cleaner, put some Moody Blues on, and find that I am able to perfectly translate anything Joe says.

  8. As I said above in August. Ron Klein will be going soon and Susan Rice will be a leading a candidate to replace him- at least he is the leading candidate for Obama and Valerie Jarett who are always promoting her since he is their insider and Joe likes her too.

Realistically that Keisha Bottoms, the former Atlanta mayor, is probably another leading candidate. It's all about skin color in this resegregated America.

Yeh, I know Susan Rice has baggage but she does not need anyone's confirmation if Joe just wants to choose her.

Klein would have been gone by now but the dems did not take as bad a beating in the midterms as they expected so they are moving with less speed. The skin color pick for press secretary is a walking trainwreck who they have to deal with. Her clock is ticking. She has succeeded in being female, black, lezbo, and an immigrant so the dems see her as being highly accomplished and so awesome that she might explode.

Ron Klain Expected to Step Down as Biden’s White House Chief of Staff

Now that we are in full swing with this, the current lay of the land suggests someone with back door channels into the Republican world will be a leading candidate. So I doubt it would be someone like Rice. I’m thinking maybe Vilsack, Landreau, or Sullivan.

And to be fair to Biden, Klain did a hell of a job, especially managing the infrastructure bill and Ukrainian aid. He is leaving on a high note. Rougher days ahead for the Biden camp though.

  10. Klain got lucky too. The elections went a lot better than expected for the dems and so the need to move him out softened a bit- although he is a key part of team Biden and despite various successes dems might like to cite, Biden's poll numbers and support amongst voters, including dems, is El Sucko. And even those who think he did okay nevertheless do not want him to run again, for the most part.

The press secretary thing is a disaster though and he needs better messaging there. You only use and abuse Admiral Kirby there so much to compensate for her. They made a good move a while back to get her out of Ukraine and international affairs press secretary work by bringing Kirby closer in but that its limits. One day I was sort of blown away to see him answering press questions on inflation and the economy. What?

I hear ya on the Vilsack, Landreau, or Sullivan thing but you may be thinking this through rationally, whereas Biden starts with the skin color or gay/trans "qualifications" and works backward from there. Some straight whitey-tighties in the ones you mentioned.
