Biden is still hoping that the United States can get out of there without losing any Americans. Even though he is in deep doo-doo now he is still hoping he can pull that off and if he can then his supporters are pretty stupid and go with the dnc scripts and Joe can just keep framing it as being the only one who had the balls to withdraw- nevermind that it is about the botched withdrawal, not about whether to withdraw. But the minute we lose and American either through death or hostage he is going to sink into an even lower level of doo-doo. And there are Americans all over the country. Anyway, that's his hope and game and it should last at least another 24 or maybe 48 hours before reality sets in so the hell with him. The end of the week will be a whole nuther reality by then. There are lots and lots of people dying there in the Kabul airport scenario and Joe keeps crowing about how we have not lost anyone yet. As if all the peasants don't count. This was a combined clusterfuck because Taliban should never have been given any respect or a place at the table.
Since your reading skills are as good as your trading skills it is clear to everyone I already said the withdrawal was a clusterfuck. I can quote you numerous times since this requires above an 8th grade reading level. But to put 100% of the situation in Afghan with the Taliban on Biden ignores the fact that trump invited the enemy to the U.S. and also separately negotiated with them. Basically saying to the Towel-ban, we will pull our troops out and you can step in whenever you want.
You are deliberately obfuscating the actual issue. Both Trump and Biden had decided to get America out of Afghanistan. While some half-hearted motions were made to secure a western government both Trump and Biden knew that Afghanistan would very rapidly revert to Taliban rule. The difference is that Trump was planning to withdraw sensibly with the military out last and Biden blundered in and yanked most of the military before a single civilian was evacuated. Its the botched execution that is horrendous here.
