No, crypto exposes crime. That's why many polititians are against it. But keep using your fiat money, we all know that fiat is never used for crime....

  2. That's why any time I've read a story about kidnapping, extortion, etc. in the past couple years, they've always demanded Bitcoin.

That's why Bitcoin was practically worthless until The Silk Road on darkweb popularized it.

Without Silk Road, there would have been to Bitcoin bubble in 2017.

Bitcoin is a currency, people can buy drugs and pay for ransom just like any other currency. Just like people can send money to their poor families in other countries, for almost free. Well, I guess it isn't free with fiat.

I know this must be all new to you but good and bad transactions happen with any currency. And at the end of the day, money is money no matter where it's been...

Can you explain how a crypto token like Ethereum is facilitating crime?

  7. Because people can remain anonymous

  8. A disproportionately large percentage of Bitcoin is used in illegal transactions compared to normal currencies. This is fact, not opinion.

The rise of Bitcoin correlated with the rise of the anonymous Dark Web. People only started speculating after that.

Wrong, most of it is used as a store of value.

  10. Lol. What value? You can't buy anything with it until you exchange for real currency. And being as volatile as it is, makes for a pretty lousy store of value. You're probably referring to speculators holding for long periods of time. Guarantee they'll never use it at the gas pump or grocery store without exchanging for dollars first.
