Indeed - does that mean someone translated it into Japanese? You have to wonder how that translation turned out. I once got cornered by a fella at The Dubliner in Shinjuku. I was at the bar and he came up to me with a book full of pictures of ovens and other cooking equipment. He had to translate it all to English and asked if I'd help - because he could barely speak it. So of course, I said no problem - just keep me fed and watered (well, Kilkenney'd) and I'll do it. I sincerely apologize to anyone that got my translations with their oven. And apologies too - to anyone who took my post on this book as an actual recommendation. The clue is in the title.
