Are MMs( as well as arbs ) not supposed to make good results in volatile times?

I'm a scalper and I really make better dough in volatile times, and I heard some really insane stories in France's MONEP...Crazy profits for one of my institutional MM friend...The guy made in 1 month 3 x what he is used to make in one year...

They both traded what would be considered a breakout gap which was the high of the session, then were completely annihilated [our] overnight [headfake]. Our markets followed.

Imo, MMs should make it as painful as possible to get out. Let it go down locked limit in RTHs session.

Then on the way up, it will be pandemonium. We may see a 4,000 point range in DOW today.

You want to buy 772 to 782 SPX [you may miss it if wait for these levels, but that is the disciplined entry]. Sell calls buy underlying. Then you will get rid of your short calls. For traders only.

    EUR.JPY CHF.JPY lifting.

Hard to say. The disciplined thing to do is to buy on the TL breakout.

CHF.JPY now confirms. Too tough...Discipline says buy.
