If I understand the congressional working times they are adjourned until next year... Nothing new can happen until after the elections when congress resumes. So in essence we have 4 months of Lame Duck Period to muscle through. The ban on short selling terminates later this week and its the free and wild west here on out until next year... It'll either be financial armeggeden ... scorched earth .. or free market will prevail and balance itself out.. albeit with bloodshed and pain.
