Warren embracing censorship. It's okay for leftist Don Lemon to question Kamala's "blackness", but conservatives can't. Tim Pool worth listening to on this and many other issues.
Back to the thread point. Biden's support from black voters cut in half after debate: Reuters/Ipsos poll https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-election-poll-idUSKCN1TY1AM I see Harris as the most probable. I think she easily out maneuvers the rest. She has a certain charisma that will resonate with the target audience. Warren is dry, has none. I can't get a handle on the running mate position. Don't think it can be another female.
Biden was probably Kamalas best choice for a running mate but I don't see that happening now.I agree it cant be another women or black candidate. If Kamala is the nominee she needs a white male for VP imo.
Bernie would be a good fit. It's an olive branch to the bernie bros...though could be seen as a slap in the face if she clinches the nomination.
He was VP for 8 years already, I doubt Biden would accept a VP role if someone else was clearly ahead. If Biden is happy still being a Senator then he can continue. If not then he could lock up Secy of State, Labor, or several other cabinet positions and ride out to the sunset.
This is so spot on. Dem voters are easily swayed by theatrics and emoting. They reflexively will favor the minority as well, except if they are like, choosing a doctor for themselves. The VP will be whoever AOC instructs them to select.
He seemed to enjoy being VP,seemed much happier than he is now.I think he would take it again if he liked he nominee.
Maybe but VP was a path to the Oval Office and he got bumped out of the way. Now he has a path and if he falls behind in the primaries I am not sure if he would want that again and know it is 8 years maybe for another shot or just take a big Cabinet position and retire a rich consultant. He might like getting another 4 to 8 years in the VP office with no pressure.
Gingrich amazed by 'level of anger' from Warren, Sanders: It's the 'opposite' of how presidency is won Newt pretty much got it right here on the anger thing. To look at it from another angle, Trump saves himself from having the image of just being an angry grump by having rallies and off the cuff remarks where he clearly likes to just horse around at someone else's expense. Trump is plenty pithy, but unless you are his target, you are going to have a good time at one of his rallies. Whereas, with Pocahonky, Bernie, or Hillary you are going to get lectured and your arse chewed out. Ain't nobody likes that. I would like to see less of Warren over time, not more, but that is not going to be the case. As Axlerod has pointed out, a strong point with Warren, is that she has started to try to mimic Obama's "yes we can" routine by chiding others for running and then carping about what they cannot do because it is too grandiose an expectation. Ahh, okay. Not bad. It works a little I guess. Except she is no Obama. Biden is not an angry guy but he is boring. In politics being boring is even worse than just being angry.
