Looks like the hush payments came from the campaign donations

I see you have taken my advice.

Wise of you... "Let's wait to see if Mueller has anything."
See you can teach an old democrat dog a new trick.

That's the problem! He IS my President. God help us all!

    I'm old, but I'm not a Democrat.

The don't need Mueller to "get Trump." If Mueller has anything, and you know he does, it will just be piling on. The SDNY prosecutor already got him. He's been caught in a felony. They have the tape connecting the payments directly to the campaign! His partner in crime has already pleaded guilty.

    What felony?
I have been asking you for facts for days.
From what I read SDNY is going after the foundation not the campaign.
We read their complaint. It was not asking for jail time.
I have read nothing about payments coming from the campaign.
    Have you?

I think I understand now a point of confusion here. There are two unrelated legal actions in NewYork. One involves, Barbara Underwood, the NY Attorney General, suing the Donald J. Trump Foundation in the New York State Supreme Court in Manhattan for violation of State Civil Law.
That is this suit : https://www.nytimes.com/2018/06/14/nyregion/trump-foundation-lawsuit-attorney-general.html

The other is a separate action brought against Michael Cohen, the President's Lawyer, by the United States Attorney in the Southern District of New York, Mr. Robert Khuzami, in the Federal District Court in the Southern District of New York.

Using the link below you can access, 1) the PDF of the Michael Cohen Plea agreement in which he waives indictment and agrees to cooperate with the prosecutors; AND below Cohen's Plea Agreement is shown, 2) the actual indictment. It is in this indictment that President Trump is referred to as "a candidate for Federal Office". This indictment is tantamount to*, but not identical to, an indictment of the President of the United States for virtually the identical Felony that Cohen has pleaded guilty to. The only reason Trump was not formally indicted is that he is President, and there is not yet a legal precedent for indictment of a siting President. Nevertheless the charge is there. Mr. Trump, can be indicted on this charge, possibly before he is out of office, and certainly once he is out of office. Technically he is not guilty until he has pleaded guilty or is found guilty . But only a fool would say the President has no culpability here.

Cohen's plea agreement and the original indictment:.

    * "Tantamount to" means "equivalent in seriousness to"

The confusion was on your part. Or, the confusion you are trying to create by pretending there are other felony cases.
The only action against Trump by NY is the one against his foundation not his campaign.

    There is no other indictment.
As we have told you Trump has not been charged with anything.
You could not possibly know that there is some indictment laying dormant and yet no one else knows about it.

Are you taking hits of mind altering drugs?

Where did you get this idea?...

"This indictment is tantamount to*, but not identical to, an indictment of the President of the United States for virtually the identical Felony that Cohen has pleaded guilty to. The only reason Trump was not formally indicted is that he is President, and there is not yet a legal precedent for indictment of a siting President. Nevertheless the charge is there. By the way Cohen was really nailed on the fist 6 counts. Those last two were the ones thrown in for publicity. If Trump were to be indicted the other counts would not be part of his case.
Your whole "tantamount" section is a fantasy, as of now.

The president would argue that the money was not a campaign contribution. Hence no campaign laws were violated.
Next, Trump would argue there were no limits to the amounts he could contribute to his own campaign although they were not campaign expenses.

You can *mount that on your wall.
*Mount is defined as placing on your wall

So glad you asked! I guess the idea came from these Cornell Lawyers who said:

“Trump is clearly guilty of violating campaign finance laws and also guilty of federal conspiracy as well (because he agreed with Cohen, and possibly others, on a plan to violate federal law),” Cornell’s Jens David Ohlin added to Illing. “Normally he would be indicted right away. But that won’t happen only because he’s the president.”

You have turned into a clown. That says nothing about your dormant "indictment" and it is all based on the following hypothetical in the preceding paragraph... (note the "if")

"Several law professors told my colleague Sean Illing that if Cohen’s account can be proven, it means Trump himself is guilty of federal crimes. “Although the president is not named in the charges, he is all but an unindicted co-conspirator,” Duke’s Lisa Kern Griffin told Illing.
