You guys are always worried about the wrong thing.
What we must have to succeed and survive are the following items:

    A. Term limits.

    B. Balanced budget amendment.

    C. True tax reform.

    D. Elimination of the House Of Representatives.

  2. NO automatic cuts, legislation is now underway to circumvent these as we speak.

  4. We need one thing, stop the infulance of money & lobyist in washington.
    A good start would be
1)Stopping this long costly wastefull campaigns.
2)Put a cap on the amount that could be donated by a person or org.
3)Put a cap that can be spent on any capmaign.
4)Anyone who has donated for a campaign should be barred from lobying (legal bribary..),
5)Any retired poltictian should not be allowed to lobby.
I think that would be somthing to start with.

It would seem, based of history, that no form of government is immutable.

I suppose the challenge for individuals is to find that form of government that suits them best, whether by accident of birth, immigration or escape, and then work to preserve it for as long as possible.

What may be true, and I don't insist it is, is that even a theoretically benevolent form of government, such as democracy, is no good among an unenlightened populace. After all is said and done, we are all human beings, and therefore imperfect. Considering that, what is rather amazing to me is how well we do much of the time.

how about free, equal time on some public channel like pbs. no donation is necessary..masses vote over qualified voters via internet. it's very simple, effective and free. and truly democratic. with current technologies any fraud will be spotted in a blink..
any income that come from questionable source can be spotted right away and should be banned. if you ever got caught-banned forever from applying to any position in gvt.

honestly...it's can be a waaaaaaaay simplier, cheaper and effective than current gvt

  10. I more or less agree with you, P. A group of basically sensible people will do just fine under a wide range of governance structures. A group of rabids will screw up no latter what structure they are living with.
