Machine Learning has incessantly changed markets

Do you think manual traders have much of a future?

  1. Yes!!! I am always betting on humans.

    74.2%
  2. No, the future seems limited for manual traders.

    25.8%

There's no indication this was done out of sample.

There's no indication any ruin analysis was done on the return distribution of the algorithm.

There's no indication any walk forward analysis was done.

I can write a curve fitting neural network in 15 lines of tensorflow as well. I'm not impressed. Insane results require insane levels of evidence. You've provided nothing but what looks like a photoshopped and poorly compressed picture of SOME output. You'd be better off selling this garbage on clickbank where you might be able to get some affiliates to peddle your garbage for you.

  3. gaussian Sorry you seem to be so much into your abilities or the lack there of. We are not selling anything our program is not for sale.

My post was to encourage traders to look into Intel's Loihi On-Chip Learning.
I don't work for Intel, but our group is affiliated with Loihi test environment.

    Cheers.

  7. tommcginnis What mistake do you refer to? This account is with an Asian broker therefore CFTC does not apply. Do you have bot with better results?

You're a clown and it looks like I struck a nerve. Post verifiable results from a verified cash account with a broker statement timestamped and dated (you can black out your account number if you want).

Until then you'll be on ignore - this is a top tier troll post.

Your opening statement misstates the math, and miss-represents AI. The fact that you have a multi-recursive algo does not make it AI; the fact that you have 77/100?? trades successful does not mean you KNOW a single thing.

You are driving a speedy-ass Titanic, with watertight doors that are not watertight. As soon as the placid waves fail to reveal the coming 'berg, you're sunk.

"Machine Learning has incessantly changed markets."
    • "Machine Learning" was coined in 1957, and refers to an ability of a machine to perform activities and operations for which it was not directly programmed.
    • There is no "incessant" at work here -- I learned of machine learning in graduate school in 1985 -- before you were born. The only thing at work here is OOP libraries (in whatever language you care to worship) and a multi-thread-eating PC. Nothing new.
    • A trading algo that uses libraries labelled "Machine Learning" or "AI" has only sped operations, not made them smarter.
    • There is absolutely NOTHING changed in the financial markets with regard to the overall value-seeking, value-signalling operation, that occurs outside of a 5-second delay. And 5 seconds is an ETERNITY for those whose primary meal-ticket (spoofing) comes from anything labeled HFT or close.
    • Machine Learning has incessantly changed the markets"?? MUCH ado about *nothing*. No "incessant", no "change" to the value proposition, and VERY little "machine learning."
