Hello themickey, Yes, I'm trying to get interviews with the quant firms now to make alot of money. And I click daily on ES trying to make a million in 1 year.
"Retired professional bond futures trader with independently audited average per annum return of 21.74%" To me, this statement made it sound like your average return was an impressive 21.74% over a long career and your final CAGR track record at retirement was 21.74%. But it was the return for only the first 15 months (August 1998 to November 1999) for a small hedge fund you were trading for? I guess the mistake was on me for reading too much into your statement, thanks for clarifying. What happened after 1999, did the fund blow up?
Hello MarkBrown, LOL, you are correct. I NEED as many millions as I can get per year. Matter of fact, I want a million in a day!!! That sounds more better.
To make $1million per day you need to get to trading in the 1000 ES lots per trade ball park. So learn to scale up fast! Re invest all previous profits into the next trade. Anti Martingale. Should not take long to get to 1000 lots if you do that. You just need to make 10 winning trades a row.
That's the ultimate form of trading...anticipating and knowing the future and growing. Many many souls get whipsawed around in the hurricane tornado tidal wave market though attempting to trade and understand it and manage it, tame it.
Hello Businessman, That is the goal, I think I make +$3million, I am shooting for one day making the +$1million. I do not want to be trading my entire life, I want to hurry up and get rich, and enjoy life. Then I can play around trading in spare time. It is hard to trade when you do not have +$30million in cash.
Hello LW_Millions, Correct, the goal is to get rich as quickly as possible, preferably less than a week. Taking a long time to get rich in trading is not a good idea.
We can all easily predict the future: the stock market go up most of the time. The problem is it often goes down for a short while before it go up, and you can get margin called when it does that. That is why buying a house is such an easy investment, you can leverage up 10:1 or 20:1, just like you can with overnight Futures, but without worrying about getting margin calls.
