May 2014, the warmest May ever recorded.

  1. As long as the data fabrications support "the cause" it's OK, right? :p

  2. In psychology, cognitive dissonance is the excessive mental stress and discomfort[1] experienced by an individual who (1) holds two or more contradictory beliefs, ideas, or values at the same time or (2) is confronted by new information that conflicts with existing beliefs, ideas, or values. This stress and discomfort may also arise within an individual who holds a belief and performs a contradictory action or reaction.[2]

Leon Festinger's theory of cognitive dissonance focuses on how humans strive for internal consistency.

When inconsistency (dissonance) is experienced, individuals largely become psychologically distressed. His basic hypotheses are listed below:

"The existence of dissonance, being psychologically uncomfortable, will motivate the person to try to reduce the dissonance and achieve consonance"

"When dissonance is present, in addition to trying to reduce it, the person will actively avoid situations and information which would likely increase the dissonance"[1]

I think this largely explains the insane dogma present in our dear deluded righties.

  5. Anything's irrelevant that contradicts the AGW scam, right? :D

    Here you go then:

NASA : Corrupting The Whole Planet

It isn’t just the US temperatures which have been corrupted by NASA and NOAA, but they have done the same thing for the entire planet

As of 1975, the Northern Hemisphere’s past was much warmer during the 1940s than it is now. The animation below flashes between the 1975 National Academy of Sciences data in blue, and the current NASA data in red. The baseline periods are not identical, but what is interesting is that the years from 1900 to 1960 got colder, while the post 1960 years got warmer.

  7. Speaking of deluded... when reality conflicts with libtarded dogma, make shit up, right? :D

    The Manufactured Data Controversy

Here is a simple example of how NOAA manufactures station data. The station at MORRISVILLE 6 SW in New York stopped reporting data in February 2013. The raw data file is shown below (click for a larger image.) Missing monthly data is marked by -9999.

The manufactured data (shown below) continues through the present and is marked with an “E”

We know that temperatures can vary several degrees within 50 yards, but they are pulling data in from stations tens of miles away, and reporting it to a precision of 0.01 degrees.

NCDC then releases temperature graphs to the public showing warming, with no mention that about 40% of the current station data is manufactured, without any underlying measured station data.

  8. Who is Steve Goddard again? LOL

And still the real proper reason for the data adjustment goes ignored

  10. Who is John Cook who used to write children's books and now runs the ‘Skeptical Science’ website you worship at the alter of? LOL

Only in the lying libturd world is a political agenda a "proper reason" to cook the books and pervert science.
