  1. Sir,the economy is doing fine right now is opinion. An opinion the majority of the country disagrees with.

Yep and I've talked about America's growing obesity ratings (fastest in the world) for many years before the Pandemic. Also, I've talked about products in our food that's banned in other countries, processed foods/fast foods/sugars in school cafeterias, and the expensive cost to eating healthy including the growing number of Dialysis clinics across America...Urban communities, Suburbs, and Rural communities.

Yeah, my last visit to South Korea to look at some property for sale...a lot of healthy looking people who were not overweight just as they were when I was in the military and living there in South Korea in comparison to the United States.

Further, I've eaten many meals in different countries. The plate size in the United States is almost twice as large as that of other countries. In addition, its almost impossible to eat something healthy at an event (e.g. sports game). You need to bring your own food, if possible, if you want to eat healthy.

  3. I stated FACTS to support my statement based on GDP, Wages, unemployment, stock market etc.. someone having a bad time is anecdotal evidence. Do not be brainwashed what a politician tells you...look at the data.

A poll is not science when asking an OPINION from a random sample that does not represent the entire population. The poll asked for an opinion on the economy. As soon as the poll indicates most GOP people feel it is bad and most Dems feel it is good shows you how hte opinion is separated.

Look at economic indicators. Don't swim in the adult pool if you want to have a factual argument and quote movies and OPINION polls.

Seriously the lack of legal and econometric education on this forum is surprising.

  4. The data is fact, the interpretation of that data is opinion. It is your opinion that the data means the economy is good, the majority of Americans disagree.

You disregarded polls when they told you Trump would win in November too.Maybe you'll figure it out one day.

Perhaps some are looking at GDP per capita (PPP?), others are looking at distribution. In that latter sense, the "majority of Americans" (by less than 3 million votes, lol) are communists. The future really is bright if Dems join MAGA in pushing for TRULY populist policies.

It's an up and down issue not left and right. Unite.

  6. Yet with 150 million people polls came within 1.4 points of the final outcome.

you just keep proving that you make up shit off the top of your head when google and fact check can save you from embarrassment...

please.save yourself already....you wouldn't know a fact if it perked you off.

  9. The economy is overall good in your opinion based on government stats. The majority of Americans disagree. What they see in their lives and the lives of those around is in their opinions a better measure of how the economy really is.

  10. You criticized polls previously implying they were unreliable due to sample size etc just as you are in this thread. The fact that polls predicted what 152 million people would do within 1.5 percentage points shows that their methods are sound so when polls consistently show 60-70% of Americans say the economy is not good those numbers are reliable.
