This is why @johnarb isn't spamming the bitcoin price thread anymore...MSTY investors would do even better relatively if bitcoin just meanders sideways or even goes down.
I'm still active on the bitcoin price thread, waxy I only have a little over 2k shares of msty, and only got the full position yesterday so I have not had my first msty dividend, yet since buying in bitcoin is all time high, $111k not sure what you mean by sideways or goes down, you must be looking at your EW chart backwards Get a real TradingView chart subscription with the data feeds, I paid about $500 a couple of weeks ago for TradingView 1 year subscription
Perhaps you should subscribe to a reading comprehension subscription... I was referring to the table and how if bitcoin meanders or goes down MSTY still returns. If you look at the bitcoin price thread you will see my updated projection for the single correction.
Curious why you want to cap your upside with MSTY, pay taxes on gains and not protect that much against drawdowns since you are a BTC bull. btw, every year TV has a Black Friday Special with the deepest discounts in addition to random substantial ones throughout the year.
NAV decay is actually a benefit that enables you to keep the DRIP going and continue to harvest shares at a low price whilst increasing dividend. I am actually all for NAV decaying continuously to keep prices low.
msty is a capped gains position on mstr, but I could have chosen another YieldMax product, since I do not own mstr shares, yet, I only have options on mstr When I have shares on mstr, I might sell the msty and sell covered calls and cash secured puts (if called on the CC's) I'm unemployed and when I had msty for 3 monthly dividend payments, wow, that was crazy $ coming in, making more than my previous job 5 years ago... I miss those steady paychecks This is a quarter of my previous msty position, I don't know how my options positions will turn out but if really good profits, I could also just increase this msty position and not bother selling cc's on mstr msty is for income, separate from all other positions, investments or trading I subscribed to TV because I'm trading perpetual futures, not sure if it has helped my trading or hurt it, but it's a psychological help for sure I looked at the invoice, it's only $287 with the US stock markets bundle data feed, that does not go to TV during signup, they mentioned it goes to the data providers, and there were some discounts because TV is a partner marketer I'v posted this before, but this clears the msty vs mstr, vs bitcoin hodl investments
