Yeah... I have a war story which will probably be the only one I'll tell on ET. Our battalion surgeon (an MD) was so scared shitless he was ineffective. I had heat exhaustion that would have turned into heat stroke had it not been for a medic (who we called doc) who caught it and taught me to take better care of myself by constantly threatening me with an IV. Both had been pulled from a stateside MASH to support us. My point is it's wrong to denigrate ANY honorable service and although RCG and I have our political differences, I respect him as a brother in arms and especially since he served in the medical field. Peacetime or not, he was always on call for God knows what.
