Yes, I confirmed that with IB. Does anyone know why they dropped Reuters? Is there any comparable service with similar fees that we IB traders can subscribe to?

    Thanks in advance.

  2. I subscribed to Briefing Platinum last week and have been pretty pleased. Today I wanted to test its speed so I opened a Bidu chart and waited. By the time earnings news hit Bidu had been trading at +40 points for about 2 minutes.

I don't trade the news so a 2 minute delay isn't deadly but surely a little unsettling. Today I was long the YM near days end when it jumped 60 points in three minutes... (my target was hit way too fast!!) but I just wasn't sure if news had hit or not. What would it take to know that I am informed up to the second other then a $1400 a month Blomberg sub? There has to be some great up to the second solid news service out there for a good price.

  3. Started my 30 day trial of Dow Jones News through my Esignal Feed... it is surely fast and comprehensive... A little too much so. Get bombarded with too many news items that I don't care for. I love the briefing.com content (Trader Talk, Mkt Internals, Technical Alerts, etc) but it is a tad slow and I don't like that it runs through a web browser... causes my browser to crash everyday. I also think that briefing layout is easier to scan and read and absorb.

Any more suggestions or recommendations would be appreciated.

    Thanks
