My broker AMP doesn't provide day trading margin discount to /NG anymore even though its volatility has been down significantly. Is this also true to other brokers? I think it's because /NG is not very popular product to traders...... :(

I see that you have QG, & no NG.

It happens to one of my brokers too.

IB still provides both NG and QG.
I have to use IB to trade NG.

We provide daytrading margins of $1150 for NG with a few different trading platforms.

Maybe right ''has been down lately.''
T Boone Pickens went bankrupt on a nat gas co of his. Overall a good fund, BP Capital manager , i think. Since a broker tends to make more on more leverage; i figure its a good thing if they increase margins , which reduces leverage.
But with auto liquidation, a lot of stuff could work.

No, it's most likely due to some irresponsible traders blowing out their accounts on the widowmakers (NG,RB,HO) and left them holding the bag.
