Moron, I am certain they regret signing you as a client. You haven't learned anything after all this time/time wasted. ITM call calendars are = OTM put calendars. In the TT-thread you had a few hundred dollars in your account and you were buying DITM calendars on index. If you are unable or unwilling to trade at a marketable price to close you go into exp assigned on the M1 short and unable to fund the risk on the resulting long in M2. IOW you're r****** and they closed your account. You were told to buy the equivalent OTM calendar (by me) but it was worth 12 cents (not a penny) as it didn't entail any assignment risk. You think that you're clever to take tens of thousands of risk with $300 in your account.
Thanks, great thread... somehow I missed it and now it's locked and I can't even like the comments But they're still funny!
Well it's not my problem if they allow the strategy to be traded, and allow the orders to be sent to the market. Tastytrade approves everyone for every options level immediately so don't give me that fucking self-righteous crap. Anyway I'm done with this conversation, I came here with a genuine question not to be abused by you, just like some other braindead idiots on this site. I'll know for future reference to go elsewhere.
Worse, the broker is at the mercy of this idiot. If he doesn't close before the bell the broker has to go to market on the spread. Something be bought at a penny may trade for 50 cents against the position. Since he has a couple hundred in the account it could be a huge debit and TT left holding the bag. So TT was babysitting this idiot and sending repeated emails and wasting their time monitoring this fool's account.
We covered it in this thread (allowing it). They told you it is no longer allowed but you continued. Your precedent caused them to flag/disallow DITM calendars <n-debit. https://elitetrader.com/et/threads/...d-received-this-email-from-tastytrade.379280/
Oh can someone just shut this fucking fool up please? Sitting behind his computer screen wanking off every time someone likes his pathetic comments or gives any attention. Ignore.
Becky's got a big heart... it just doesn't show up in a pretty package. OTOH, I try to be kind and will politely advise you to re-think the entire situation because you're clearly wrong.
