When a NY print goes off outside of the NY spread, what kind of order is it and what is the significance?

  2. it can simply be the specialist not being orderly.

they do not have to print in between the spread as far as i know. they are supposed to but they dont have to.

  3. It's called a Historic print. On time and sales you'll see the H next to the print. It's a clean up print after the trade happened, especially in a fast moving market.

I was not looking at the time of sales, so I am not sure I understand "historic trade"
Was it a trade executed on the floor?
