Biden Should Not Run Again — and He Should Say He Won’t

From some of his public appearances, Biden seems … uneven. Often cogent, but sometimes alarmingly incoherent. What’s the reason? I have no idea. Do his appearances (including the good ones) inspire strong confidence that the president can go the distance in his current term, to say nothing of the next? No.

And many people seem to know it. On Sunday, my colleagues Jonathan Martin and Alexander Burns reported on the Democratic Party’s not-so-quiet murmurs about what to do if Biden decides not to run. Aspirants for the nomination appear in the story like sharks circling a raft, swimming slow.

The worst thing about Biden is his predilection to do illegal things, knowing they are illegal, but doing them anyway until the court can restrain him. He is a fucking crook.

Now the vaccines that Sleepy Joe mandated are killing people. His own CDC actually advises against the JNJ vaccine that he mandated.

For the record, this is an opinion columnist not the New York Times itself making this argument.

Opinion columnists are an important part of journalism and media outlets should all ow for all opinions made in good faith and with merit to be heard.

Where we run into problems is that many, many people do not understand the difference between a news story and an opinion piece and try to treat them as the same.

This piece is provocative and should make the reader think but it is not supposed to make the reader think it is a news report from the newspaper.

My fellow Americans, please, I’m begging you - try harder with this stuff.

Hi. Did you advocate republicans “should just give up” when they were in power and equally if not more unpopular than the democrats are currently?

Climate change is not bullshit. Inflation is not huge, crime rocketed under Trump and we are at Trump levels now.

Get a grip. Are you a serious adult or are you a child?

'Biden seems confused': CNN questions president's cognitive health and points out he mixed up COVID-19 tests with antiviral pills in his ABC interview

When asked about complaints that the lines to get tested for COVID-19 were excessive, with waits of over five hours in New York City as one example, Biden said that 500 million at-home tests had been ordered.

But several times he referred to the tests as 'pills' - potentially thinking of the Pfizer antiviral pills, which were federally approved on the same day. 'Repeatedly throughout this interview - President Biden seems confused and was confusing the half a billion tests that they've ordered with a half a billion pills,' said Jeff Zeleny, CNN's chief national affairs correspondent.
