Obamacare To Increase Individual-Market Premiums By Average Of 41%

  1. It's common knowledge (I think) the ACA rollout is a screw up and Obama fucked up with the "you can keep your insurance" and too many back room deals were made to get it through, OK. All the opposition does is bitch and moan, tired of listening to it. They say small steps is the way to legislate, they are in control of the house and the dems are not happy either so now would be the time for them to fix some of the issues that you pointed out. But then that might really work and make the ACA actually work, so it wont happen. ACA is law and total repeal is very unlikely. The political climate is ripe for compromise for the two sides to actually work together and make this right or at least better. And like you I gotta take a dig at the opposition.

Obama really screwed up telling Americans they could keep their policy if they liked it. Think about it he has no control over what products the insurance companies put out there, it was a stupid statement even if the law allowed for people to keep their plans.

The tea party is in control of the house? I had no idea.

I see where there are 48 reps all (R)'s that caucus as the tea party.

    48/435= 11%

It's your contention 11% of the house controls the house, with that RINO "Boner" as speaker no less?

Okay, then maybe you or some of these uneducated Democrats can tell me why my policy is so "crappy" (I've also heard catastrophic policies referred to as illegal, not really insurance and scams by Democrats who testified at Sebelius' hearing).

Ages 59 & 57 ... we pay $364/month for catastrophic policy with $10,000 deductible. What do we get? Both wife and I get free annual physicals with bloodwork, she gets mammogram, I get prostate exam, we both get colonoscopy .... all of these are at no cost as they are 'preventive' in nature.

At our ages we don't need maternity coverage or any of that pediatric crap. And skip mental health coverage too.

We should be able to buy what we want/need. We can afford the $10K if something were to happen. We do not want Obama's crap that would cost us $1000/month with a $12,700 deductible. Why would we want to pay 180% MORE in monthly premiums than we pay today?

Here's an analogy .. wife has a Prius that cost about $20K. Will Obama next mandate that we all need to buy a $55K Toyota SUV because that offers more 'protection'? That's about the same percentage increase as we expect to see in premiums.

If anyone .. from Sebelius to idiot Jay Carney to Odumbo would look at the FACTS many of us are dealing with they would realize how screwed up Odumbocare is for healthy people.

When you posted the clip of "Uncle Eddie" from Christmas Vacation emptying "the shitter," you basically summed up bigzero. A loon in a camper posts here, and some here still respond to him. I'll admit, the "shitter was full" clip did make me roll around laughing, however.:D :D :D

He actually thinks the tea party "controls" the house of representatives. AND that they alone should "fix" Obamacare. (IF it can even be fixed)

I can only surmise one of two possibilities from that.

    * He's an unbelievably ignorant red neck...liberal

    * He's getting his political <s>"news"</s> propaganda from obviously unreliable sources. ("Unreliable" meaning successful, in the world of propaganda.)

I saw that last night. Essentially Obongo is having to beg people to try again to sign up. What a loser.

You make an utterly stupid ignorant remark blaming the tea party for an Obongo executive decision. Rather than let that go or man up and admit it. You then double down on stupid, blaming the tea party for not fixing O-bomb-a-care. And claiming the tea party controls the house.
When they only make up 11% of the house.
And after all that stupidity, THIS is all you can come up with? Yet another stupid claim about you spanking my ass, despite all history to the contrary?
