  1. I hope you realize that the MORE you talk about your supposedly high IQ, the more desperate and insecure you appear.

Individuals with higher IQ's feel no need to tell others just how smart they are...

In fact, if I didn't know better, I'd suspect that you need to reminds us that you have an average IQ in an effort to combat the lack of critical thought that goes into most of your posts.

Over the years, lefties have blamed Fox News for all sorts of things. Now, via Obamacare architect Ezekiel Emanuel, we learn that the nation’s sole non-liberal television news operation is actually responsible for the HealthCare.gov debacle. In a debate with FNC host Megyn Kelly on her program last night, Ezekiel argued that Fox News Channel was really to blame for the fact that almost no one has signed up for the Obamacare insurance exchanges that are the center-piece of the law.

President Obama’s waffling on the Obamacare minimum coverage regulations isn’t going over too well with insurance companies and states that have spent billions trying to prepare for the law’s implementation. Already, Washington has decided to pass on Obama’s one-year bandaid fix announced today.

    from AP:

Commissioner Mike Kreidler said Thursday he won’t allow insurance companies to extend their old policies that didn’t meet the requirements of federal health care reform. An estimated 290,000 Washington residents have received notices that their old insurance policies will be canceled.

"Trying to do what the president has proposed would be very disruptive to the insurance market in the sate of Washington so no, we will not be allowing insurance companies to extend these policies," he said. "You’d have to go back and re-rate all of the policies, and the premises for what they originally proposed rates would all change."

Kreidler, a Democrat, says all of them can get better coverage on the new health care exchange. He says at least half of them will qualify for a subsidy to help them pay the premium.

"I have empathy for these people, I certainly feel for them, but at the same time, people really have a chance right now to shop and compare various health plans and make some decisions that best fits themselves and their families in ways that could never do before," Kreidler said. "But if you wind up extending these current plans that are out there, you really disrupt the ability for that to happen."

When asked if he was worried his decision was going to upset those who just heard earlier in the day they could keep their insurance, Kreidler replied that having the new policies that meet minimum coverage requirements will be beneficial to them in case of a major health incident....

    What a moron.

In a flailing attempt to patch up one broken promise about Obamacare, President Obama is likely worsening the reality of his biggest promise about his healthcare law: that it would make insurance affordable.

    from Reuters:

President Barack Obama’s fix for canceled health plans could “destabilize” the insurance market and lead to higher costs for consumers without further steps, America’s Health Insurance Plans, an industry trade group, said on Thursday.

"Changing the rules after health plans have already met the requirements of the (Obamacare) law could destabilize the market and result in higher premiums," AHIP President Karen Ignagni said in a statement.

"Additional steps must be taken to stabilize the marketplace and mitigate the adverse impact on consumers," she said...
