    1. so let me see... you don't want to draw conclusions about temps for the fact that land temps have not warmed in 19 years but you wish to state the oceans are turning more acid from virtually the same limited time set?

that is such hypocrisy its amazing. I agree both data sets are unimportant except for one thing.

the land temp data sets shows the models failed. they predicted warming and it did not happen even though co2 went up dramaticallly.

    2. we get warm warm when the el nino runs. We predicted it would be a warm year if the el nino kicked in and it might bring rain to the western drought areas. We got that right so far.

from what I read in december it was unlikely that 2014 was the warmest on record for land temps. if you have data showing 2014 was the warmest for land temps... I would like to see it.

it was the ocean that has continued to warm.
which is probably why the co2 levels has continued to rise.

the ocean release co2 when it warms.

  2. No asshole. The CO2 is rising because we releasing 9 billion tons per year into the air. What the fuck is wrong with you?

You just can't help lying can you? You are a joke.

But you are right about one thing. The world has not even slowed warming.

  3. Oh, and jerm, still waiting to hear that statement from a science org that denies AGW. After all, there are hundreds that say it is undeniably true, if there is so much debate about in science it should be easy to find ONE that denies it.

No you can't because there are NO reputable respected climate scientists that deny it. None.

A great pity the money wasted on the military can't be spent clearing up the planet's problems.
Talking of seas and mucky people, the Mediterranean will be one of the first to die.

Good sense alone won't overcome government inertia.

Maybe we wouldn't have to spend so much on defense if the Euro-pussies would pay for their own defense.

  8. Good sense alone will also not overcome shortsightedness and selfishness. We want ours now, and others and the future can fend for themselves.

Action on these large, long term problems requires mankind to act with an unprecedented level of selflessness, altruism, forward thinking and worldwide cooperation. I'm not sure humans are up to the task.

  9. Or if we just start deciding not to spend the obscene and unnecessary amounts that we do for "defense". The politicians are bought by the military contractor lobby and the people have been brainwashed into thinking that we need this huge expense.

If you ask the average person on the street how much of the budget is going toward "defense" (it should really be called the dept of OFFENSE), they usually have no clue.

I am in favor of cutting the entire budget...but lets not pretend mandatory spending is not spending just because it goes out to people.
    here is a real chart.
