  1. IV, I've actually been a member since '04. I enjoy reading much of what is on ET but have not had enough experience to add anything of real value. As you can see from my only other post I'm still learning. I have found quite a few threads that have helped me understand things a little better, (like the Gamma trading thread you were part of). I only posted the message here as a last resort and to assist others who may have been considering buying the courseware as well.

    1. This axiom is also used as a great sales pitch by those companies that have overpriced products and an OLD marketing ploy.

    2. I've been trading LONGER then Ron (Since 1982) so I think I know what I know pretty well by now ;-)

Good luck to your company "if" your legit ... I liked your 100% guarantee policy BUT we've seen many other vendors renege on that before.

My offer to write an HONEST unbiased review of your product here in ET still stands if you send me your material and if not me then pick any one of the many amazing options traders in here ... Maverick77, riskarb, optioncoach etc, etc ....

  3. What favorable odds you will give me to trade against "the best in the country" ?
    5:1 , 10:1 ?
I'm a retail investor , never worked in the industry , should be very easy for Ron. Can I get a 20:1 ?

  4. You need to broaden your base of option gurus if this guy is tops. My closest friend worked alongside Ronnie at the PHLX. His initials are "MY".

  5. How much does that recommendation cost? How many good reasons do you offer?

  6. Yesssss! He subscribed to the RA -disp seminar and received some parting gifts as well.

Seriously, long dispersion is fairly efficient under regT. You go long component gamma and short index gamma under SPAN in FOs. IV is very successful trading dispersion on the Dow, although I imagine he decreases his component tickers when trading -dispersion.

  9. You 2 are some "wild and crazy guys". You remind me of the Festrunk Brothers.

How in the hell do you show pics on a post? Its' like impossible with all the coding and shit you gotta do. Anyway this is supposed to be a funny pic of the Festrunk Bros.

  10. Well, here's the link to thinkorswim:

    http://www.thinkorswim.com/tos/disp...27CBF29A553FC9?webpage=main&layout=homeLayout

... and when I clicked on their Support/Open School/Classes I went to "OptionPlanet".

Then when I clicked on OptionPlanet, under Sponsors and Affilaites, guess what, "OptionUniversity.com" was nowhere to be seen, like, anywhere. .

    Big surprise there.

Hey, I'm sure they're great for traders who need the spoonfeeding, but once a trader finds a decent edge, he/she doesn't give it away, and they definitely don't package it in glossy covers and sell it through a bad marketing firm.

    Later,

    Jimmy Jam

P.S. I also clicked on OptionVue.com just for the hell of it (their banner is right there, and under affilations, they list The Options Institute and The Options Industry Council, but still no "OptionUniversity", with the cheesy agitprop.

The closer you look, the more appropriate the original thread title is ...
