small try at humor on my part. my point was, these sheep will scream buy at highs and sell at lows. we all know them. i would like to think i am not one! trying to look at the big picture.
Pabst, the S&P rallied up the wazoo this week. You don't think the half ass bears got smoked already? I firmly believe the S&P will top out here around 1490-1500. this belief lasts thru Dec exp (12/21), and then I go fishing til 2008. How bout those knicks? why a NY'er hasnt put dolan to sleep yet is a mystery to me. that fat loser defintely doesnt walk the streets of nyc or he'd be 6 feet under by now.
How Dolan/Isiah stay employed is beyond me. The put/call indicators show extreme negative sentiment Bob. This market has MUCH more upside. (and I'm short up the ass). Real smart eh?
It's comical to me that all 3 announcers last night were predicting isiah would be fired today. They miss one little thing that has prevented this for years now..that fat ass dolan would have to admit he's WRONG to fire isiah. dolan will never fire him bc that means dolan admits he is wrong. I pray there's a "dolan sucks" chant that resonates each night fat ass comes to future games starting tonite. If there's much more upside, i'll be very surprised. I admit i dont follow the put/calls like you do, but there's too much going on now to allow this market to go higher. 1490-1500 is the top for now, and hopefully, that happened today. Go milwaukee!
Out of my es at 1471. Basically unscathed here. I honestly thought we would fall through the floor after that huge rally last week but now i am not so sure. We might target 1500 before we start our way back down imo so I might look for a short up there. When in doubt stay on the sidelines .
I've covered my shorts at 146.72 in the EuroFx. I may hop right back in but two thing's have me shaky. The most relevant was an article on Bloomberg (CNBC also echoed the same thoughts) that a large stronger dollar consensus is brewing on Wall Street. Rarely is being on the same side of sentiment agreeable to ones p/l. Secondly but more abstractly; it's my opinion that Trichet will not ease. Trichet doesn't have to face the Barney Frank's and Ron Paul's of the world to explain himself. Europe truly is vigilant on inflation. With German CPI at 3% I just don't see the ECB getting involved. Neither does the curve over there sense any easing. Index: I'm still long put spreads and I'm completely unhedged. I see ES trading to at least 1460 if not 1440 over the next two weeks.
11:30 pm monday night and Bob Rowshan is on top of the world. Ten minutes later, I goto bed crushed. Friggin crooked referees ! Why did they have to bail the patsies out ? A flag thrown as the ball was falling incomplete on 4th down late last night. A flag for defensive holding, that replays show was non-existent. Baltimore played their hearts out and deserved to win. They stopped the patsies and the game was over. Only a crooked referee would throw a "defensive holding" flag as the ball falls incomplete. It's sickening.
I feel bad for Brian Billick. Class guy. Setting up new shorts in EuroFx here at 147.64. Break even stop (I've got 9 ticks lead) Still long SP puts.
