I said the other day looking back at February highs to today's highs is like standing on mt everest and seeing an ant mound. Im looking at charts that are literally making February 2020 highs look like they were 2009 lows.
As an individual traders there's way to still take advantage of it and apply reasonable risk management. But overall yes seems like others are just going to buy up, until we eventually having a larger drop and clear all the overbought levels. At that point the cycle will restart. Actually what's happening on the Weekly and Monthly charts has happened before countless of times on smaller charts. It's just extremely rare we have this type of setup on them as it takes major macro events to get that kind of movement. The market isn't too often in an neutral state for very long relative to the time frame you're viewing. Meaning it's constantly oversold or overbought conditions as supply gets sucked up that forces either A) short covering or B) longs to capitulate (these are levels that market will almost always come back to and find momentarily equilibrium) The trick is being patient and waiting for an actual signal that gives you an indication and a measure of risk management to allow you to effectively catch that move back there.
Right now its become a game to see how high they can stretch valuations. I mean I can just imagine what the big hedge funds and guys behind wallstteet are actually thinking. It has come to the point where something definitely very very very questionable is occurring.
How the fuck could you not want to take profits. There are massive amounts of portfolios sitting on gigantic gains. Does each sucker keep paying a higher price for a stock where valuations are absurd. I mean eventually stock prices will have to keep up with earnings and earnings will have to be spectacular each and every quarter
uh oh. A pullback. Nasdaq +200 to +160 And I can guess that every talking head will say AFTER the 7% drop in the nasdaq that it was much needed and a healthy correction yet not one person is mentioning any type of pull back what so ever. In fact every day they are raising price targets so how can anyone be pondering a pullback of any type.
