Socialist policies and gov't intervention in the free market lead to disasters. It is always a matter of time. Biden, do you hear?
I doubt. It's rather themselves doing that dirty work for the US, albeit good paid dirty work... Read Confessions of an Economic Hit Man: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Confessions_of_an_Economic_Hit_Man
That's not true. There's no universal rule. I'd hate to live in a country with a truly free market, I can only imagine what most companies would be doing for the quick and easy profit.
Milton Friedman spoke to this point. In conjunction with free markets you have to have rule of law. Rule of includes strong protection of private property and protection against fraud. You will be surprised how an expansive view of fraud will curb quick and easy illegitimate profits.
Reminds me of the "Saudi hotel locked with full of the richy elites of the country"... Everyone could buy his freedom back... by paying a ransom to MbS...
"Erdoganomics" essentially inverts classical economics and claims that rising interest rates lead to higher inflation (and the converse, hence his cuts). The situation of the past few years is fueled by Erdogan enforcing his unorthodox thinking on his CB governors. Nothing to do with conspiracies, it's all in incredibly plain sight. I would call him a wishful child running a country by himself and suppressing those that actually know something in an area where he evidently knows nothing. This is a weakness of autocracies - nobody can easily stop an idiot in charge in such a context.
