Here's what's happening-----McCabe was offered a pre-indictment plea deal which he turned down. Once he did so, the inquiry was changed to a criminal inquiry from an administrative review. --He is getting indicted---

  2. Some version of that could happen though.

McCabe has said that he would never, ever enter into a plea deal (versus by initial grand jury indictment) under any circumstances. That little deviant fantasy might take a couple hits too.

Depends on what all else Horowitz and Durham have on him. If they have stacked up other charges that they are prepared to move on, a plea deal on perjury along might be looking better than McCabe thinks right now. I am kind of beyond the speculation phase. We are entering into the "new information phase" and I will revisit it as that develops.

Also, bear in mind that I have said many times that McCabe might also escape indictment by flipping on Comey and that could be good too. McCabe says that he had permission from Comey to leak certain material to the press but Comey testified before Congress that he absolutely, positively gave NO ONE permission to leak that material. And as I have said, I would not want to be the one to guess who the bigger liar of those two is. Also Comey says he never knew about the dossier beyond just a sign-off perfunctory level. McCabe says that Comey was in on extensive discussions about using it for the fisa warrant, and Lisa Page backs McCabe up and says Comey is definitely lying.

So McCabe may skate, or he may plead to something when he sees what the full boatload of possible charges is, or he may earn points by flipping on others. We shall see. I can only say again that at this time I dont know what all else they have on him, and neither does McCabe, and neither do you.

  4. Yes, and as a practical matter, the DOJ has probably already gotten what they wanted for a time delay in releasing the material. Without doubt probably they did not want to be forced into releasing some of the material in the Horowitz report until he completed his report, and then when he was ready, they were ready. If so, then they have achieved that. Horowitz is done and ready for release or will be by November 15, so what they hey. No skin off their nose at that point.

    Dude. You two are idiots.

McCabe was referred to the DOJ for review by Horowitz for leaking to the Wall Street Journal the Clinton investigation was still open at a certain time. I have provided the info for you in the past.

What do you think he would be indicted for?

  7. Give it a rest mate. I have properly stated that we will need to see what additional revelations- if any- come out of the Horowitz report and Durham inquiry.

You consistently state that there is nothing that they have looked at or will be able to look at beyond what we know from the first Horowitz report. It is only by drinking kool-aid that one can achieve that level of certainty without seeing further developments that are already completed and those that will be ongoing for the next eight months or so of Durham's work. Could be longer.

Also, WTF is up with you saying "information that I have provided you." I am in no way dependent on any such information from you out on the Mothership to understand the media release scenario and Horowitz's actions. I already schooled you once today on pieces of this. You should be taking notes when others post.

In a sworn deposition today, House investigators heard from Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Vindman, a decorated Iraq War Veteran who is currently the top Ukraine expert on the National Security Council. Vindman testified that President Trump's demand for political dirt from Ukraine was so damaging to US National Security that he had a "duty" to relay his objections up the chain of command.
