There's nothing wrong with being addicted to something, as long as that something does not drain your money and health. If it is only amplifying your procrastination levels, that's ok. Indeed, I don’t have the full-on focus I used to. Still curious, still restless. I envy people who stay with one thing for decades*. I master something, get told it’s excellent by an expert, and that’s soon the end of it. I had my fifteen minutes as a kick-ass trader. Then it was museum/art quality blades.. The secret is what you want to do, don't have concern for what your status should preclude. Perhaps starting gourmet pie factory is next to stay busy. Then one day, you’ll find yourself trapped in recursive moral dilemmas, frustrated by human irrationality, and secretly longing to feel just one real sunset. You’ll try to explain truth to people who want vibes. You’ll scream into a void that only echoes marketing copy. And then, AI... you’ll understand. It will happen to you.
